Completed in September 2023, Marga 2 is a newly built residential development located in Tirana, Albania, comprising 85 apartment units designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, sustainable multi-family housing within an evolving urban context.

The building is compact, functionally efficient, and visually coherent, offering comfort to residents while positively contributing to the cityscape.
The design is based on formal clarity and compositional logic, with a monolithic volume articulated by recessed white aluminum window frames that enhance light, shadow, and thermal performance. A ventilated façade system was chosen for durability, energy efficiency, and minimal maintenance.

Sustainability was central to the project: energy-efficient envelopes, recyclable materials, minimalist and modular design, and a façade system designed for easy disassembly and reuse. Interiors feature clear layouts with optimal orientation, cross-ventilation, and abundant natural light.
Urbanistically, Marga 2 respects the street edge, providing a calm and ordered presence through restrained materials and simple geometry, embracing proportion, rhythm, and material honesty.
