Located on one of Melbourne’s most prestigious commercial addresses, the new Melbourne Dental Group clinic at 100 Collins Street represents a carefully resolved integration of clinical functionality and refined spatial design. Delivered by BuildMarque as both designer and builder, the project exemplifies a holistic approach to healthcare environments—balancing operational efficiency with a calm, patient-focused experience.
The clinic comprises four dental surgeries, a generously scaled sterilisation room, reception and waiting areas, a private dentist office, staff amenities, and a dedicated plant room. The planning strategy prioritised spatial clarity and workflow optimisation, ensuring seamless movement between clinical and support zones while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare standards.
A key design driver was the maximisation of natural daylight—an element often constrained in medical fit-outs. Through strategic space planning and material selection, daylight is drawn deep into the interior, enhancing both patient comfort and staff wellbeing. The palette is deliberately restrained, using clean lines, soft textures, and durable finishes to create a contemporary yet welcoming environment.
