Club Office for MPO Recently DZAP delivered a Club Office for Mul Projectontwikkeling (MPO), the developer and owner of the striking building ‘Wibautveste’. Wibautveste is a combination of rental and owner-occupied apartments with a vibrant commercial plinth which locates a restaurant, a cooking studio, a coffee bar and modern office spaces including the office of MPO.
MPO wished for a combination of pleasant, comfortable workstations with professional and high-quality meeting areas. This request resulted in an office where the bar became the central meeting point surrounded by a nice and homey comfortable seating area with fireplace and by open and closed offices. The French doors give access to a sunny roof terrace and also enables the daylight to enter the office. To let the light flow freely through the interior the inside walls are made of glass with steel profiles and are easy to open or close. With the well thought partitioning of the office and the various zones it creates a high club-feeling.
The club-feeling is enhanced by the use of high quality materials such as a solid oak floor interspersed with luxurious carpets, walnut shelves and kitchen, custom-made glass wall system with black steel profiles and sliding doors, and comfortable tables, chairs and sofas. The lighting system consists of black voltage rails with black spots aimed to highlight the different areas. In contrast to the used materials the constructional ceiling is kept raw and is covered with an acoustic-damping layer in an concrete industrial gray color.
The Club Office of MPO provides an ideal combination of comfortable meeting area’s and workstations on the so-called Knowledge Mile at the Wibautstraat in the center of Amsterdam.
