Taking the new-wave café style on the level of expertise, the POSITION Collective’s project on the My Green Cup interior catches the attention of both coffee and design spotters.

Home away from home for any caffeine-lover, My Green Cup is a recent flag on the map of big-city coffee landscapes. The café treats visitors with specialities on Pozsonyi út, a busy and hip area on the Pest side of Budapest. With this café, the POSITION Collective has created a fully functional space and an atmosphere which blends into the layers of its urban surrounding.

The spatial structures, with emphasis on the serving areas, were designed hand-in-hand with the manager and the team of baristas – so to develop the smoothest framework around the daily workflow. Meanwhile on the other side of the counter, the guest area offers different seating options. Wherever the choice lies, the layout and the decoration provide the feeling of a private yet coherent whole from every angle of the interior.

My Green Cup is a venue of the highest quality of coffee making. Quality as such is much represented in the design by a consistent selection of the core materials: all around the space durable walnut surfaces were used, which align with the texture of roasted coffee-beans. Browns, combined with the eponymous green, jointly fill the space with the aroma of contentment and relaxation.
