Netbeheer Nederland has a brand-new office and it’s one to be proud of. The industry association is located in New Babylon in The Hague and now features an interior that offers the team a wide variety of ways to work. Whether it’s dropping in briefly, working with focus, brainstorming together, or holding meetings, there’s a suitable place for every activity.
The interior subtly and creatively reflects what Netbeheer Nederland stands for. Throughout the office, you’ll find playful references to electricity and gas: thoughtful details that reinforce the organization’s identity.
The design and projectmanagement were handled by Parella, who engaged us to supply the furniture. Together with interior architect Marieke Stigter, we contributed during a creative session to select the right furniture and upholstery fabrics. The result is an interior that not only looks great, but also truly works.
To allow for a flexible layout, a meeting room was created directly adjacent to the work café. With a fully retractable wall, the two spaces can easily be combined. Folding tables further enhance the room’s multifunctional use.
For the ergonomic workstations, we selected the RE_Desk, the sit-stand desk from our sustainable label The Green Lab. We also took care of the complete electrification and cable management for all workstations and meeting tables. Everything is neatly and custom concealed, creating a clean and professional look.
The acoustic partition walls also come from The Green Lab collection and are upholstered in the sustainable Facet fabric. The RE_Seat Basecamp benches from the same line are ideal as informal workspaces: comfortable for working and equipped with integrated power, allowing users to easily charge their laptop or phone.
