Challenge; Indoor and outdoor lighting as an integral part of the architecture
Solution; Traffic rooms equipped with indirect wall lighting, emergency lighting which is integrated. The overall stay spaces provided in a smaller version suitable downlighters in the ceiling area of 25 cm with the addition of object illumination. Offices with inlay fixtures, custom office length wide, dynamically controlled.
For this project the startingpoint was a fitting function and pleasant work office environment. By a process of discors with the future users represented by its departments chiefs a design was made which put human design principles first.
The inside is sized to optimal working conditions. Other prerequisites such as view, daylight, glare, and climate are adjusted to perfection. This results in nice glass surfaces protect with fixed sunscreens.
The view on the lake in het central space is the eyecatcher of the interieur. Combined with the outdoor terrace on the second floor makes this space extra attractive. The L shape of the building is chosen due to the shape of the plot. This is the most efficient and economic use. The office building of ISAH is characterised by sharp lines, edges en jump of the facade. This makes it a lively ensemble. This is supported by the reliëf of the windows. We chose for this design so shadows could form by the architecture and sunscreen would not be necessary. The combination of the facade with antraciet ceramic tiles, aluminium window frames and finishing give it a timeless presence.
