OBS de Groeiplaneet in Krimpen aan de IJssel has been expanded with a Kinderdagverblijf and Sportzaal 'De Populier' on the Poplar Avenue (Populierenlaan).
Here a playful facade in three shades of green was designed by architects Frencken Scholl Architects from Maastricht.
A new facade now adorns the building with unique 'custom-made' plank profiles in three harmonious shades of green. The design combines clean lines and natural colors, creating a striking result.
What makes this facade special?
> Plank profiles (Sidings) with an installation width of 300, 400 and 500 mm, mounted horizontally.
> Steel plate of 1.5 mm thickness and high steel strength, which keeps the parts beautifully flat.
> Colors in Hairultra 35mu low gloss (15 GU):
* Apple 6652
* Reseda 6011
* Clorofila 6018
The combination of these elements gives the façade a modern and natural look that blends perfectly with its surroundings. A wonderful example of how material choice and color use together can bring a facade to life.
