The project originates from the question, "What is T4’s philosophy?" This allowed us to understand what the brand wanted to represent in its office and what message it aimed to convey.

In our perception, it boiled down to the following points: T4 seeks to go beyond the ordinary, taking advantage of and giving back to nature; T4 embodies joy and well-being for and with others; it is the desire to share the Taiwanese tea experience and connect people through tea.

This led us to explore the ritual of Taiwanese tea, which is traditionally performed in a dedicated space within homes or in traditional tea houses, where a strong connection with nature and the outdoors is maintained. In any case, it translates into gathering, taking a moment for introspection, conversation, and concentration with others in a calm atmosphere. Over time, this practice has evolved beyond a ceremony into a lifestyle and daily habit.

By understanding these two concepts, we formulated the guiding question for the project: "What is T4’s way of working?" The answer was simple: a company rooted in Taiwanese culture that reinterprets the tea ritual into a collaborative work approach—one where ideas and thoughts are shared collectively and as a team, all starting with a cup of tea.

The project’s layout was designed around a central element that fosters versatility in collaborative work—a table that can be moved into different positions according to users' needs, avoiding the rigidity of a conventional office. This central "tea house" is structured with islands that create circulation flows and define areas for recreation, relaxation, and independent offices. All of this is surrounded by gravel flooring, vegetation, and plants, giving the impression of transitioning between spaces, much like in traditional Taiwanese tea houses.
