Canal Engineering has just completed the installation of this elegant feature staircase at the Park Inn Hotel, London; part of a £1.3m refurbishment of the main reception area carried out by Vascroft Contractors Ltd.
The contemporary staircase has runners constructed from laser cut 15mm thick stainless steel plate to give a zigzag appearance seen through the glass in-fill panels.
The balustrade in-fill panels themselves are cut from 15mm thick toughened glass and the handrail has been crafted from stainless steel tube that has been satin polished.
We think it looks simple, modern and elegant; it has been very well received by the client and the hotel is now open to guests who we expect will also appreciate the new stylish interior as they climb the stairs on their way to bed.
