The main guideline requested by the client for the Perdizes apartment was to integrate the living room with the balcony to create a large living space. At the same time, he wanted a home office where he could have privacy when necessary, and when not, integration with the rest of the social area.

So, by removing one of the bedrooms, we made space for the home office next to the living room, and we opted for a set of sliding doors in carpentry to close it off. They are all in Venetian blinds, which gives it a light feel, but at the same time creates privacy when necessary.

The kitchen also has some integration with the living room, but we kept the masonry that separates the spaces, also creating smart carpentry to house all the appliances and make it very functional.

A highlight of the project is the gourmet area on the balcony, where we installed a gas barbecue with an Evo stove hood. We used Azul Bahia natural stone on the countertop – and also in the bathrooms of both suites. In the guest suite, we combined more discreet wall coverings, blue and wood carpentry, a mirror that adds width, and indirect lighting, making the space spacious and functional at the same time.

One of the suites was transformed into a guest room that also functions as a private TV room, the goal being to have a bedroom for guests, but at the same time a more cozy space to watch a movie.

And finally, the master suite: a large closet was created with all the separation in carpentry. The queen-size bed is bulky, but allowed for good use of the space with large drawers, as did the side furniture. We also created a slatted panel that makes up the furniture in front of the bed.
