A space designed to the last millimeter

This project was conceived with utmost precision to offer an optimal wine storage experience while elegantly showcasing the bottles. With only two doors, both located on the same side, we had to minimize framing to maximize visual impact and ensure a clean, streamlined aesthetic. The central shape of the unit was specifically designed to free up the ends, facilitating access to the bottles while respecting the opening constraints.

The backlit transparent acrylic shelves not only add structure to the ensemble but also provide a soft glow that highlights the wine collection while preserving a warm and modern atmosphere. Every detail of this project was designed to meet practical needs without sacrificing aesthetics.

SPECIFICATIONS

A double-glazed thermopane unit filled with argon gas and framed in brass-finished metal ensures airtightness and optimal insulation — both essential for proper wine
preservation. This glass is also equipped with an integrated UV-protective film, shielding the bottles from harmful light exposure and helping to preserve the delicate aromas and color of fine wines. This UV protection becomes a crucial element in maintaining the stability and longevity of the wines stored within.

The system also helps maintain a stable temperature, ideally between 12 and 15°C — a fundamental condition for preserving the integrity of exceptional vintages.

Inside, transparent acrylic shelves are elegantly angled at precisely 18 degrees. This precise tilt ensures the wine remains in constant contact with the cork, preventing it from drying out and thus supporting optimal aging. Dedicated compartments are also included to accommodate magnums (1.5 L), showcasing these special formats.

All lighting used in the project is LED, with a color temperature ranging from 2700 to 3000 kelvins, ensuring the wine’s integrity is preserved without affecting its aging process.
