Two types of Bendheim channel glass were specified for this mixed-use redevelopment of Pier 57 on Manhattan’s West Side. On the ground floor, walls made of Bendheim’s Clarissimo channel glass allow expansive river views throughout the building’s lobby and restaurant areas. For office tenants on the second floor, channel glass walls with the translucent 504 Rough Cast texture let daylight fill the space while shielding the interior from glare. Low-e coatings on both types of channel glass provide protection from UV and infrared wavelengths.
