Our private client has requested Barr architects to find a sulution to the exisitng Garage on the site . We designed a new build residential property located in the heart of Notting Hill Gate.The project required the demolition of an existing studio and garage on the site and construction of a new mews house with a lower ground, ground, first and second floor. The house has two bedrooms; on the first floor and one master bedroom suite on the second floor. A cut away glass floor in the ground floor living room brings light down into the lower ground floor kitchen and dining room. Careful detailing of the elevation onto the mews ensures that the new house sits elegantly between the adjacent properties.
