Completed in 2022 on the Garching campus of the Technical University of Munich, the "TUM Centre for Functional Protein Assemblies" (CPA) spans approximately 4,800 square metres and unites various scientific departments under one roof. The primary focus of the refurbishment was to foster collaboration through agile seminar rooms and dynamic coworking spaces.\
The interior design aimed to stimulate and promote interaction both within individual departments and across different disciplines. Key elements included the creation of flexible seminar rooms that can be easily reconfigured to accommodate different group sizes and teaching formats. Additionally, coworking spaces were designed to encourage spontaneous collaboration and communication among researchers.
