COMMITTED TO TRADITION AND THE NEXT GENERATION
At this family house in Abersee, traditional living forms and elements were interpreted in a modern way and translated into the twenty-first century. In an alpine environment with predominantly traditional construction methods, a family home was built with glue- and metal-free solid wood elements - and without any visible fasteners. Not only the solid wood walls, but also the frame walls and the ceiling structures were manufactured completely without glue. For the rear-ventilated, natural facade, a combination of larch wood shingles and rough-sawn larch wood sheathing was chosen.
