Brief

At the request of the investors, the design team endeavored to capture the region's distinctive character, resulting in the creation of a truly remarkable summer residence that harmoniously integrates with the panoramic view of the Monaco coast, offering a breathtaking and cohesive experience.

Challenge

The design team had already worked on existing house from the 70-s and this provided us with a framework from which something modern and beautiful could evolve. In the kitchen area, the team faced the challenge of low ceilings, but through the use of vertical elements, light tones, and thoughtful furniture arrangement, they successfully created a sense of spaciousness.

Concept

The concept behind this project revolves around creating an interior that exudes tranquility and timelessness, while also incorporating vibrant accents to infuse character and warmth into the space.

Realization

The primary area on the first floor is dominated by a spacious open living room with well-placed lighting. In the kitchen area, the team faced the challenge of low ceilings, but through the use of vertical elements, light tones, and thoughtful furniture arrangement, they successfully created a sense of spaciousness.

The incorporation of contrasting accents adds expressiveness to the bright interior, and with the addition of Poliform furniture, it becomes truly multifunctional. From the dining zone, there's access to a terrace where one can enjoy sea views and take a dip in the swimming pool.

The private master zone is located on the second floor and is designed as an intimate space for two, where the bedroom seamlessly blends with the bathroom and dressing room. Playful pastel shades and expressive contrasts dominate this area.

In the bathroom, the aim was to extend the ambiance of the living area. To achieve this, the team selected the same parquet flooring as in the bedroom. An independently freestanding bathtub adds a touch of romance and relaxation to the space.

The guest zone is situated on the first floor. This bedroom exudes a masculine atmosphere with its rich steel-colored walls, black lampshades, and a leather-covered bed. The bathroom is adorned with elegant marble, enhancing the space's visual appeal and pristine appearance.

Cream and caramel colors serve as the foundation of the design in the additional bedroom, drawing inspiration from sweet confectionery hues like cream, marshmallow, and berries. Creating an interior that evokes sweet associations tends to foster subconscious comfort within the room. This bedroom can serve as a second guest room or a second children's room. In the bathroom, the focal point is the sink, which is enhanced by soft lighting featuring an onyx finish — an idea that originated from the client.
