RAW Studio was born as a process of experimentation. Stone, raw plaster, wood, and iron enhance the concept of materiality, demonstrating how primordial elements can articulate sophisticated spaces such as our Architecture Studio.

The true soul of this experimentation lies in the desire to expose, rather than conceal, the various stages of construction and site work. The space becomes a didactic and visual manifesto of the building process: the walls intentionally retain their raw plaster, proudly exposing the marks of utility chases, conduits, and construction scars. This choice transforms the construction site from a transient phase into a permanent aesthetic, celebrating structural honesty and the value of the unfinished as an art form.

The space reveals itself through a constant dialogue between the historical soul of the venue and the precision of contemporary design. A sharp black diagonal line redefines the volumes of the back wall, separating the weathered plaster from a dark, intimate shell. At its center stands a monumental antique solid wood door—a geometric and temporal contrast that transforms a functional threshold into a sculptural piece.

The project’s philosophy is expressed through the ennoblement of heavy building materials, repurposed into functional furniture:

- The concrete of the hollow blocks, a structural material par excellence, is dry-stacked into geometric seating and support surfaces.- The iron of the large monolithic meeting table, custom-designed by the studio, showcases the burnished, unrefined, and industrial finish of folded sheet metal.- The welded wire reinforcement mesh, left to oxidize naturally, is transformed from a hidden reinforcement concrete core into a dynamic exhibition grid for models, maps, and ideas.

Within this rigor, the atmosphere is warmed by calibrated accents of color—such as the vertical red radiator and the vibrant textiles indicating the seating areas—as well as narrative design objects.

A vintage motorcycle, raw wooden logs used as stools, and fine art prints coexist without barriers, witnessing a design approach where a passion for mechanics, nature, and architecture merges into a single authentic, essential, and inherently raw vision.
