The real estate unit subject to intervention is located inside a multi-family building on the second floor located in a slope area, free on three sides (South _ West _ North), equipped with two balconies overlooking the South front and the North front respectively, characterized by a privileged view of the Valtellina capital visible thanks to the generous wooden windows that distinguish the large living area.

The entrance was conceived as a highly characterising element, here proposed with a custom-made, brushed, black wooden covering, which aims to generate a box within the surrounding environment, clearly distinct and visible to the user's eye, generating a real filter area organised with concealed wardrobes and storage spaces.

From here we continue to reach the central corridor with a false ceiling where the two pillars and the beam above emerge from which the layer of plaster that characterized them has been manually removed, revealing the irregular exposed concrete finish, with stone elements inside, representing the ancient structure of the building. The entrances to the master bedroom, the children's bedroom and the bathroom are immediately visible to the eye of the user thanks to the presence of custom-made oak doors with a dedicated black handle to recall the entrance that generate frames within the neutral color of the walls that act as a backdrop.

The master bedroom is distinguished by the presence of a boiserie behind the bed in oak that hides a shelf with dedicated LED lighting and niches designed to move the constructive linearity of the backdrop by generating full and empty spaces. A custom-made wardrobe characterized by tailor-made handles completes the furniture. The bathroom, although small in size, is optimised in the arrangement of the elements that guarantee optimal use. The full-height ceramic covering of the walls is then perfectly integrated with the oak flooring allowing the chosen design elements to emerge from a design profile.

The living area with an East-West layout is organized into three distinct spaces (kitchen - dining area - living room) that strongly characterize the surrounding environment, without any of them dominating the adjacent one, through a clever use of furniture and the volumes that they generate. The living room uses a custom-made wooden partition placed centrally in the room so as to create a corridor to the right and left that could divide this space from the dining area, but at the same time maintain a visual continuum with the remaining part of the property, avoiding its exclusion.

The reeded finish combined with integrated lighting contributes to transforming it into a strongly characterizing element. The dining area is organized around a marble table perfectly aligned with the window facing North that gives diners a privileged view of the Valtellina capital. We did not want to opt for classic ceiling lighting, choosing instead to use a groove created in the reeded cabinet behind that could give a greater compositional cleanliness to the room.

The kitchen is organized into three apparently distinct elements, but perfectly connected in terms of composition, color and functionality: the central island with an oak snack table acts as a crossroads, generating freedom in the user's paths, connecting the corner characterized by the presence of the refrigerator and oven and the more linear part that follows the trend of the wall.

The Studio also took care of the lighting of the rooms, opting for light fixtures with classic shapes recalling the past, to be added to others of modern design, perfectly integrated with the custom-made furniture, with the consequence of generating changing scenarios and plays of light at the service of the spaces.
