The project stems from the expansion of a building nestled in the moraine hills of Sirmione.
The house is a smart, class-A construction, managed by home automation.
It is a 400-square-meter residential unit on a single level: the doors are flush, and all the windows are retractable/enclosure. The floors and walls are made of resin in the same color. A strong minimalism and monochromatism are the soul of the project.
The kitchen is custom-built and entirely made of iron; the countertops and splashbacks are in flamed and brushed absolute black. The accessories, benches, and table are reclaimed pieces owned by the client.
The bathrooms are made of cement resin, as are the shower trays. The latter were installed flush with the floor.
The large living room features two nubuck sofas by Baxter Divani. The fireplace wall was created for video projection of images and films (a great passion of the house). It's a house to be enjoyed in all seasons, with windows that disappear into the walls and where the expansive greenery outside streams into the home, along with the light from the adjacent hills. Evenings are a major attraction, as the owners love hosting guests and throwing large parties.
The design is minimalist and monochromatic, incorporating contrasting natural elements such as iron, granite, nubuck, and velvet. The entire property is distributed on a single level, making it very comfortable and practical to live in, even for simple everyday needs.
