RICK OWENS – BRONZE SCULPTURAL DESIGN, Galerie Philia

Galerie Philia as Architects

Over the years, Rick Owens has developed a number of signature materials, shapes, and visual archetypes and has influenced an entire generation of artists and sculptural designers. Rick Owens’ bronze sculptural pieces are among his most original works. His brutalist pieces of furniture vary in finishes and textures, they can be black, golden or nitrate, but they all combine a stark modernist look with a contemporary minimalistic line.

This exhibition will weave a dialog between the refined beauty of the Renaissance Palazzo Galli Tassi of Numeroventi and Rick Owens’s powerful sculptural bronze creations. The elegant architecture will host the sharp curvatures and the harsh archetypal works of a world-widely recognized designer. A unique exhibition will emerge from the contrasts and juxtaposition of those two worlds : contemporary brutalistic minimalism and the Renaissance sense of harmony and beauty.RICK OWENS – BRONZE SCULPTURAL DESIGN.
