The Sangalli beach house project, located in Riviera de São Lourenço, on the coast of São Paulo, started with the implementation of the residence block in an ''L'' shape, on a plot of land of approximately 1,098m². The project is signed by the brazilian architecture office Raiz Arquitetura, from architects and partners Alexandre Ferraz and Elias Souza, who have in their portfolio several high standard houses in the coast and countryside of São Paulo.

Designed to receive a couple from the South of Brazil that recently moved to São Paulo, the purpose was to develop a project on the coast that would serve the whole family to enjoy leisure, rest and welcome relatives and friends. The acquisition of a privileged piece of land, facing the East and North of the coastal region, allowed the block of the residence to be used as a barrier to the sunset, providing only the morning and winter sun in the leisure, sport and rest areas. At the client's request, the front facade was developed to guarantee privacy, without exposing the interiors of the house.

Since it is a beach residence, the premise adopted was practicality and comfort. For the interior design, three main concepts were defined: internal/external integration, functionality, and coziness. The environments were developed with light, clean and slim furniture, which composed a cozy atmosphere of tranquility for residents and visitors.

The high ceiling height, combined with the large openings and glass frames, brings abundant natural lighting, providing clarity to the entire social area of the house and, consequently, a feeling of spaciousness and even greater integration to the interiors. In the private areas, located on the upper floor, the highlight is the master suite. The couple's bedroom has a large closet integrated to the bathroom, and an isolated balcony with a privileged view of the leisure area and the natural forest that surrounds the residence.

For the external pool area, a portico in exposed concrete with a span of approximately 11 meters houses the gym, sauna, Zen area, and part of the pool. The glass enclosure of the sauna preserves the view to the Atlantic Forest positioned at the end of the lot. The space also has a shaded area, which works as a shelter on sunny days.
