The home is located 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean in Delray Beach, Florida.  This single story house is nestled between single story older bungalow-style homes on a majestic Royal Palm lined street.

The parti is based on a clear distinction between public and private spaces. The street elevation is formal and discrete. The garage is separated from the main house by a trellised courtyard entry distinguished with Ipe wood louvered walls on both ends and aIpe trellised roof above. This entry feature is ceremonial, mysterious and private. The massing of the house creates a private outdoor courtyard where the pool, fire pit, BBQ and lounge areas are located.

There are 3 main materials used on the exterior of the home, being limestone, ipe wood louvers and a white painted float finish stucco.  A limestone tile flows throughout the interior and exterior pool deck of the home.  There is a small loft/studio on the second level above the garage.
