Solventa, a company specialized in financial services, decided to relocate its offices in Bogotá to support the growth of its local operations. The new space needed to accommodate 120 employees and reflect the company’s dynamic and modern identity. To achieve this, a comprehensive project was developed that combined functionality, well-being, and an aesthetic aligned with the brand’s values.
The assignment was executed by Contract Workplaces under a turnkey model, covering an area of 485 m² and completed in just 62 days. From the beginning, the main challenge was maximizing workstation density without compromising comfort, while incorporating collaborative spaces, rest areas, and enclosed offices within a limited floorplate.
The spatial strategy was organized around a central core housing meeting rooms and private offices, while the open-plan operational area and rest zones were distributed along the perimeter. This arrangement not only optimized layout efficiency but also enhanced natural light penetration and access to exterior views, adding environmental quality to the workspace.
The offices include shared amenities such as a game room and relaxation areas that promote well-being and informal interaction among teams. The building’s gym and swimming pool further enrich the work environment, encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
The design embraces a color palette aligned with Solventa’s visual identity, using shades of purple, blue, and gray to define zones and add character. In terms of materials, vinyl flooring was selected and differentiated by use: wood-look finishes for perimeter circulation, light gray for the operational and break areas, and dark gray for meeting rooms and enclosed offices—resulting in a clear visual reading of the space.
The exposed, unpainted slab contributes to a contemporary aesthetic, contrasting with the enclosed rooms where smooth white drywall ceilings were added to improve acoustics and provide greater privacy. Suspended acoustic panels were also installed in key areas to mitigate ambient noise and enhance the design.
Lighting plays a leading role: recessed linear profiles and wall-mounted fixtures were used on walls, lintels, and parapets, complemented by decorative pendant lamps in rest areas and enclosed rooms to create an atmosphere that is both warm and sophisticated.
Glass fronts in meeting rooms and private offices promote visual transparency without compromising spatial separation, helping maintain a sense of openness and brightness throughout the environment.
The new Solventa Colombia offices exemplify how a company can invest in improving workplace conditions to attract and retain talent, while also optimizing operational efficiency.
