New SPM English Medium School, a redevelopment project, is designed to be an introvert building due to space constraints.
We envisioned the spaces to be well ventilated and receive ample light. Few rooms were deliberately eliminated on the First Floor to create an indoor play area for Nursery Students. The Play Area creates an uncluttered look and also adds openness to that particular floor.
The exterior of the building is a juxtaposition of multiple colour tones and different materials such as brick cladding highlighted by dark tone rcc boxing, multi-coloured window rcc boxing, combination of coloured panels and jaali panels in Fibre reinforced plastic wall whose main function is to enhance the aesthetic value of the building, also the ducts go un-noticed because of the wall. Courtyard façade displays a similar aesthetic façade as the road-side façade but instead of brick cladding, texture paint is used to match the brick and grout colour tones.
Internal walls of the staircase block adds replicates the colourful language of the building.
The building presents distinctive visual experiences as the user travels around and inside the building, creating vibrant experiences for students and other users alike.
