Signed by the architecture office Macro Arquitetos, led by the brazilian architects Carlos Duarte and Juliana Nogueira, a 29m² studio located in the center of São Paulo (Brazil) won a project that integrate the environments and create furniture in a practical and compact way.
The project was developed from the multipurpose locksmith, which follows the entire side of the apartment. In this short space were arranged the kitchen area, niche for broom / ladder, TV, wardrobe, and compartments to store general items. The bookcase was made in matte black locksmith and has joinery attached to treated naval plywood.
The kitchen countertop has been repurposed and adjusted to the new layout and the pediment area was redone, following the pagination of the bookcase.
On the opposite side of the bookcase, there is a bench made of joinery - which also fulfills the function of a storage space - next to a table and chairs for a meal. Next to the bench, there is a double sofa bed and a queen bed with bedside side tables.
The general lighting was idealized by a black center rail and, as a complement, there are some focal points installed directly on the shelf, a pendant on the table and a swered on the side of the bed, creating different scenarios to the space.
The bathroom follows the same pattern delivered by the construction company, but a painting was performed, following the highlight color of the apartment.
