How to create a corporate environment where work, cooperation, collaboration, focus, rest, and creativity coexist side by side, propelling each other without hindrance, and encompassing a space full of identity, modernity, and youthful spirit? This was the challenge posed by SumUp, a leading fintech company known for its presence in the credit and debit card machine market.
In 2016, LP+A took on this challenge, reinventing the company's corporate identity and overseeing its move to a new space. The office designed by LP+A revolves around one of SumUp's core values: practicality. The variety of spaces designed allows for various forms of work and interaction. From phone booths, meeting rooms, and focused workspaces to numerous cafes, whiteboards, brainstorming spaces, and collaboration areas, the resulting office is undoubtedly a versatile and adaptable space.
With such diverse spaces, one deserves special mention: the Town Hall. This blend of canteen, café, auditorium, bleachers, and informal meeting space is the heart of SumUp, reflecting its way of working. This area is used daily by the team, and once a week, all teams gather here to share their achievements, challenges, and results.
