Alberto Francini, owner of the architectural firm Metrogramma, is the designer of the loft. The loft is divided into 2 levels totaling 200 sqm. The whole house is organized around the central body of the stairs. The lighting is ensured by a long shed made of glass, which runs through the house in length.
At the ground floor are located the living room, the bedroom and a spacious bathroom with a pool. The room and the bathroom are designed like an hotel room with natural light from a patio in the middle between the pool and bedroom.
The first-floor staircase divides the space in a living room / dining room with study and a kitchen / dining room overlooking the double volume in visual connection with the living room below. The kitchen is the steel railing of the double volume.
The couch is WALL of Living Divani design by Piero Lissoni. The white mobile in the living room and in the bedroom are the line Synthesis of Poliform, design Marco Colombo. The lamp of the living room is Astarte of Atemide design by Richard Sapper. The bronze sculpture is of Gianpietro Carlesso. The picture is of the New York's artist Quintilio Polilli. The cabinet of the bathroom in lacquered wood and white Corian top is made from a design by Alberto Francini Marconi Furniture, as well as cabinets and walls sliding partitions.
The bed is a tatami bed by Bioeco.
The first-floor kitchen entirely in stainless steel and oak is made on a design by Alberto Francini by Marconi Furniture and MCM. Recessed lighting is Ducré Wever. The dining table is Trevi Poliform, the chairs black and white are the ISA of Zanotta, design Roberto Barbieri. The solid wood table comes from an auction of Villa La Capponcina in Florence and was part of the study of Gabriele D'Annunzio. The pendant lamp is the Parentesi of Flos design Achille Castiglioni. The table lamp is Nesso by Artemide designed by Giancarlo Mattioli in '67.
