This 4327 square foot home is located in Kolenchery, Kerala, India, on a 12.2 acre site close to the Muvattupuzha river. Due to the site's location in a flood-prone area, the project was both challenging and interesting at the same time. In all phases of the design narrative, the water level on the site during the Kerala floods in 2018 increased to 3.2 meters, a crucial benchmark.  

Despite being viewed as a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, this was a cause for concern and had a significant impact on the course the project had to take. In response to this site condition, the majority of the important design strategies were created.
