Una Places is a group of houses situated on a triangular plot of land with a triangular geometry that borders a park. The residences are organized in pairs that share the same architecture, and their placement follows the topography and alignments of the street and the park.
Exposed concrete, a material so traditional in Brazilian modernist architecture, is one of the primary materials in the project. It carries textures that make each house a unique construction. Corten steel sunshades bring movement to the facades, ensuring that the houses are never the same, while also filtering sunlight and providing privacy for the residents.
At the lowest level, taking advantage of the terrain's slope, there are garages, service spaces, and secondary entrances. This placement allowed us to design a small square in the center of the plot, serving as the main access point for each unit. On the ground floor, there are communal spaces and a courtyard that, at a higher elevation, opens up to the park.
