Villa Rhenen is a contemporary private villa in a green setting in Rhenen, the Netherlands. The house is designed as a clear and energy-efficient composition in which architecture, comfort and sustainability come together.

The villa combines dark façade elements, natural stone and timber into a calm yet expressive architectural language. Large glass façades open the house towards the garden, while more closed elevations provide privacy, shelter and a balanced appearance. The relationship between interior and landscape plays a central role in the design.

At the garden side, generous glazing creates a strong connection between inside and outside. Roof overhangs and sliding panels help regulate daylight, heat and privacy throughout the seasons. Inside, open living spaces, long sightlines and natural light define the spatial experience.

Sustainability is integrated as a natural part of the design. The orientation, façade composition and layout are carefully tuned to energy use and comfort. Solar panels, a ground source heat pump and rooflights support the energy-efficient character of the house.
