Born from a simple wish for a home suited to single living, yet designed with an eye toward the long-term vision of a small family. Built on clear functionality and high adaptability, the layout flows seamlessly from bedroom to common areas to garden, answering both present needs and future possibilities.

Throughout the design, we placed strong focus on microclimatic solutions. Three skylights, together with a reflective water pond at the back, create natural ventilation that keeps the interior cool and airy. Daylight from the central skylight is delicately managed through passive design, allowing sunlight to enter every 1.5 hours—a rhythm just right for plant photosynthesis, while also supporting antibacterial effects, moisture balance, and natural deodorization.

Life inside Vu House is enriched by shifting volumes and levels across its three floors, offering fresh perspectives at every step along the length of the home. At the far end, we envisioned a sanctuary - a meeting point of water, greenery, and stillness. More than a spot to rest, read, or share meals, it embodies five elements of retreat - water, plants, light, breeze, and quiet - woven together into a complete, harmonious whole.
