Whispers
with its romantic weaves, subtly woven fabrics, and bold black lines, represents the latest project by Diana Żurek and Gutek Girek from Furora Studio. The apartment, located on the top floor in Kraków, is spacious and filled with natural light.
Its open layout required significant intervention to give it a defined structure and to separate functional zones. The main idea was to create an entryway structure that divides a small hallway and seamlessly transitions into the kitchen area. Fronts with a delicate woven pattern were finished with metal frames, complemented by dark brown wood and stone elements. The stone serves not only a functional purpose but also adds a decorative touch – its deep green shade lends a natural character to the interior. The geometry of the project is accentuated by the rhythmic layout of the floor and a ceiling lattice, with black accents adding elegance to the overall look.
The space features numerous custom-made furniture pieces designed specifically for this apartment, including an ornamental shelf and a blue table that brings a hint of color to the interior. Horizontal elements harmonize beautifully with vertical accents, such as tall door wings and wall panels.
The bathroom was expanded by merging it with a smaller room, allowing the creation of a spa zone complete with a home sauna. Kept in cream and anthracite tones, the space exudes a calm ambiance, ideal for relaxation and tranquility.
Although the bedroom is modest in size, it accommodates a large, comfortable bed and a wardrobe concealed behind decorative doors. Corner windows offer a view of the surrounding greenery, creating a harmonious connection with nature.
The entire project is rich in fine details, textures, and subtle color combinations, creating a cohesive and picturesque interior that captivates with its calm and spaciousness.
