The apartment is located along the Naviglio of Milan, on the top floor of a small building.

When we started the project the building was in the final phase of construction and, therefore, the state of art was unusual and very interesting: 90 square meters of an empty box, without internal walls, completely surrounded by windows and with a large view of the terrace.

We decided to design in an unusual way, keeping the box as wide as possible; furthermore, we decided to build with masonry walls just the volume of the bathroom and a small portion of one of the walls of the bedroom, which is bounded around by a system of double wardrobe, opening from
the bedroom and the corridor.

The volume of the bathroom has been offset by 70 cm from The outside wall, in order to connect visually the kitchen area and the study area, located next to the entrance.

The natural light enters into the apartment in a fluid and suggestive way, reaching every corner at any time of day.

Raw iron, oak parquet, cement-like panels, dark wood with fabric decoration and glass mosaic, make up the materials palette that we used for the apartment and for the custom designed furniture.
