The object of this renovation is the 1980’s villa, located in a quiet rural context on the outskirts of Milan. It is a three floor building, with one underground; the upper floor is characterized by a sloping pitched roof. The new facades of the villa have been designed to have a more contemporary look, with much larger windows and new views of the outside.
The terracotta tiles of the roof have been replaced by a new anthracite-coloured metal sheets cladding. Thanks to the combination of the new alignments and the windows offset position, the villa is characterized by a simple and sober design, which still maintains its own identity, without compromising its relationship with the external context.
Internally, works have been conceived to obtain a betterspace distribution and to design a new staircase with anelevator.
New technological systems will make it possible to significantly reduce the energy consumption.
