Simplification and unification are crucial words when it comes to define FILD’s interior design style. Minimalist interior design involves using the bare essentials to create a simple and uncluttered space. The key is to maintain balance between clean minimalism and certain level of cozy atmosphere.

“FILD as a lighting brand is our main focus. On rare occasions we would develop and execute an interior design project if only because we would share common vision, taste and general basis with potential client. Who would later, on most certainly, will become a friend.” – saying Dan, FILD founder, creative director.

This well-balanced environment was created for a married couple.
Apartment represents clean and welcoming spaces that consist of main area adjoint with kitchen, two study rooms (as private offices), two door setup bathroom and master bedroom that was combined with functional dressing room.

The building construction from the developer provided absolutely no opportunity for an area reconfiguration. Basically all walls in the apartment are monolithic load-resistance. Only bathroom space was a bit more flexible, but also had a certain creativity limitations.

Indeed, spaciousness in not directly related to size, but it was still a challenge to maintain clean lines, smart setups and an uncluttered layout.

We managed to widen the corridor moving one wall up to 40cm and to create a solid furniture construction that divided entry area and one of the study rooms, by being a functional design element for both spaces.

Color palate of this dwelling consists primarily of warm grey tones, organic wood tone and plenty of natural light, as well as the occasional Ultra Blue accents represented by Radius pedant lamps in main TV zone and bedroom.
We truly believe that your home must be a sanctuary of piece, relaxation and positivity.

Every piece of furniture should have a distinctive purpose in the living space and should bring its own functionality.

For this particular project, we intended to achieve clean lines, practical storage solutions and subtle furniture forms that would not obviously protrude.

Hidden doors, slick gaps and barely perceptible design elements that will create an aesthetically mature sense of the place. You must take your time and look deeper to profoundly appreciate the surroundings.
Wooden panels were installed to full ceiling length for the visually prolonging effect.
All furniture was custom made by Verdi Company according to our technical sketches.

Window frames are finished with wooden panels delivering even more coziness into the dwelling.

Bathroom lay you was a real challenge to work with due to utterly small space and brave desire to create fully functional, comfortable and stylish bathroom for two people.
We have managed to arrange properly all requested components: custom made double sink with 2 independent mirrors, eye-catching freestanding bath, separate shower, toilet, wall shelves set and plenty of storage space under the sink cabinets.
Light grey Cappo di Gres textural ceramic tile combined with original concrete patterns and balanced with natural brown wood tone furniture.
Bathroom has 2 doors, one to the hallway and the other to the master bedroom like an en suite. Privacy is ensured by having a lock on both doors.

Kitchen design was influenced by Asian touch of laconism and application onvenience.
Furthermore, with the focus placed on functionality, again we were limited with square meters and had to adjust kitchen needs to monolith walls.

Furniture construction set has combined kitchen with main area. It is consisting of cupboards variety for kitchenware, built-in refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and open shelvings, TV set placement with common storage area. From a designer’s perspective, it is an ideal choice of the interior not to be cluttered or overwhelmed with forms at some point.
Concentrating on the essential we want to minimize variety of materials and forms.

Due to its basic concept of providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere we have designed multifunctional, partially movable lounge sofa in neutral light grey color with pleasant grain fabric.

Archi ceiling lights by our brand FILD are installed as a main downlight in major zones.
Over the dining table client has selected SO5 Spot lamps from our Sustainable Origins collection. Color accent is taken by pendant Radius lamp in Ultra Blue.

We obviously continue with simplicity of shapes in bedroom aesthetics.

Emphasis on strong clean lines is fulfilled by bedroom entrance that takes us though the unique portal, kind of an exposed “wardrobe zone”.
It reveals great level of functionality, plus has the full capacity to provide all that you could ask for in standard type of separated dressing room. Once again, Ultra Blue Radius pendant lamp by FILD makes a statement in calm, restful color palate of the room.
