As part of our ongoing collaboration with Tenuta di Forci, we are leading the restoration and transformation of Chiasso, the first of eleven historic farmhouses on this remarkable 14th-century Tuscan estate. Located in one of the most unspoiled provinces of the region, Chiasso marks the beginning of a broader vision to create a place where regenerative living, community, and nature come together. What would he say if he knew that almost 120 years after building his befitting residence at the center of his municipality, it is still being cherished by his direct descendants? Located in the locality of Naxxar, known for its rich architectural heritage, Naxxar House by AP Valletta involves the refurbishment and extension of an 18th-century palazzino. The property lies just outside the boundary of the designated Urban Conservation Area, making it susceptible to the recent rise of higher apartment blocks in its vicinity. This project was dedicated to the historic reconstruction of an essential part of the Sázava monastery complex. It included a total restoration of the rectory building, of the Baroque church of St. Prokop with a crypt, the torso of a Gothic three-nave with a tower and the arrangement of the surrounding terrain. Near Fukuma Beach, known for its beautiful sunsets, a friend who is also the client found a piece of land with an old house built in 1979. The project began with a consultation on whether this old house could be renovated into a combination shop and guesthouse. Just minutes from the breathtaking Alentejo coastline in Portugal, this eco-friendly project encapsulates a vision of conscious tourism and it is a collaboration between desirelines studio and nu-he studio. It offers visitors an opportunity to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature and the earth. Once a humble miner's cottage, the Tighes Hill Recycled House in Newcastle, NSW, underwent a significant renovation and expansion, transforming into a much-loved two-storey family home.
