As part of our ongoing collaboration with Tenuta di Forci, we are leading the restoration and transformation of Chiasso, the first of eleven historic farmhouses on this remarkable 14th-century Tuscan estate. Located in one of the most unspoiled provinces of the region, Chiasso marks the beginning of a broader vision to create a place where regenerative living, community, and nature come together.
Chiasso is being reimagined as a four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence that blends modern comfort with the timeless character of rustic Tuscany. We designed the interior to feature an open-plan kitchen and living space, along with a serene indoor swimming pool and spa, introducing contemporary luxury while honoring the farmhouse’s original architecture.
Sustainability is at the heart of this project. We're applying regenerative and circular construction principles, including the reuse of materials, renewable energy integration, biomass heating, high-performance insulation, and rainwater collection systems. We’re also committed to using locally sourced materials to reduce environmental impact and support the regional economy.
Chiasso is just the beginning. The wider estate is evolving into a multifaceted destination: a working regenerative farm, future healing sanctuary, farm-to-table restaurant, gallery space with an artist residency, and a vibrant rural community. We’re proud to contribute to this ambitious and inspiring vision, one that bridges heritage with forward-thinking design and a deep respect for the land.
