This 345 m² project was developed by the team at NJ+ Arquitetos for a family of four. The wife is a journalist and influencer in decoration and lifestyle, the husband works in finance, and the couple has two young children, a boy and a girl. With architecture by the Gálvez & Márton office, the interior design by Nildo José and his team, encompasses all four floors: the basement, the ground floor, an upper floor divided into two half-levels where the bedrooms are located, and a final top floor with the rooftop. Skuruparken consists of 36 terraced houses in two models, ‘Naturhusen’ (the Nature houses) and ‘Atriumhusen’ (the Atrium houses). The houses are beautifully nestled in a pine forest hill with fine rocks not far from Stockholm's inlet. Gerrard Road is an outstanding refurbishment and remodelling of a Grade II listed townhouse in Islington, and demonstrates Neil Dusheiko Architects’ sensitive approach to working with historic buildings. The house, which was originally built in the 1840s, has been carefully adapted to suit modern living, with period features sitting comfortably alongside stylish contemporary interventions. The aim of the project was the design of summer houses, in two neighboring plots, which are located very close to the settlement of Kriopigi in H​alkidiki and at a great distance from the sea. Nevertheless, the view to the sea is unobstructed and very impressive. The plot is bordered by many olive groves, characteristic of all Mediterranean places. Formerly a vacant lot, this six unit housing project is set out to be both a pleasurable place to live, and an urban park experience. Sited as a bookend to a public park, the regulatory review process prompted a modern contextual edge to its urban open space.  Anton Grassl Mindful of the urban condition, the new townhouses are setback from the property to align with the adjacent housing context scale, and blend into the foreground of the park’s mature trees.
