The Thinkroom

The Thinkroom is conceived as a collaborative workplace combined with a library — a rare typology in Gurugram, where fast-paced work culture rarely leaves space for quiet reading and reflection. The idea was to create a workplace that balances focus and collaboration, while also offering a haven for people who enjoy reading and learning within a shared environment. Arkodeb Mukherjee Arkodeb Mukherjee Arkodeb Mukherjee Arkodeb Mukherjee The design draws inspiration from the idea of a “Neher” (river) — and the calm rhythm you experience when sitting beside flowing water with a book. Translating this into the space, a continuous blue flooring element flows through the interior, guiding movement whi... More

The shared workspace is located in two  floors and is accessible directly from the public space, from the pedestrian connection between the station and the square. Bamboo

In the midst of an office culture paradigm shift, Bamboo’s second location offers open coworking, private offices, amenity, and event spaces addressing the flux of workspace needs in new hybrid models. The adaptive reuse project converts a historic furniture store into a new community hub.  The design process began with a design decision guide. These parameters translate the business model and customer to the built environment.  Take a Break - Create pockets that are not reservable near workstations, enabling everyone to have flexibility with their work-flow without traversing the entire building.Connections - Common spaces should be adjacent to primary circulation providing more distance between heavy traffic areas and fo... Capitaland Coworking Offices

The charm of Co-working lies in “More than just work”. To fulfill this objective, iDA scattered details of leisure life into this co-working space to create a dynamic, relaxing, and cheerful working environment. The goal of this project was to enliven the space without overdesigning it or cluttering the usable space with unnecessary complications.   A 22-meter long bar running through the length of the space creates a sense of connection between reception, social working spaces and individual working spaces. iDA also added a communal area with a spectacular city view to provide an area to relax and recharge. We added geometric designs throughout the space to create a sense of cohesion and to allow for the creation of inde... More

Baba Yaga`s Hut On Chicken Feet

Introduction   It’s difficult to find a place for comfortable life in contemporary cities. Global urbanization and decrease in the number of really affordable housing are the modern tendencies. Although the idea of constructing more low-rise buildings was recognized prospective and humane, developers often don’t follow these rules, and the cities continue to grow upwards and to press with their giant scale upon the citizens. Also the idea of coliving is developing. But it is not appropriate for everyone; the sad experience in the use of dormitories and communal apartments in the Soviet Union proves it completely. Coliving is more suitable for very young people under 25 years. There are also some problems with work space.... More

Spaces Hennessy

Spaces Hennessy stands proud in the middle of the buzzing Wai Chai area. A long with its great accessibility, Spaces Hennessy provides matching conveniences and co-working experience from within. As interior designers for the place, D&P Associates is glad to see the place working well and trusted by local freelancers and startups. One thing we’d have to admit, Spaces Hennessy was not exactly a joy to work on. The assigned building lies in a crowded part of the city with perhaps too many neighboring areas and uneven buildings. This leads to two daunting challenges: How do we make the place stand out in such a bustling area? And how do we get enough natural light if we are being surrounded from all directions? First thing first, t... More
