The new Voisthaler Hut is situated in the high valley of the Upper Dullwitz as a highly visible landmark. As a point of orientation between Hochschwab, Wetterkogel, Karlhochkogel and Fölzsattel, it replaces the existing hut and appears as a simple, clear volume in the high alpine terrain. The setting in the largely natural landscape is an interplay of site-specific characteristics (topography, weather sides, view), function and form - a combination of architecture and site. In 2021, Haikou City initiated a series of cultural projects titled "Pavilions by the Sea," aimed at providing citizens with interdisciplinary and intellectually engaging public entertainment spaces. As one of the 16 coastal pavilions, "Mountain of the Sky" has become the second new urban landmark built at the northern end of Haikou Bay. Facing the southwest coast, the Sou Fujimoto Architects crafted an undulating, continuous ring-shaped roof with an irregular, curved surface shell structure made of thin concrete. In the heart of the city, BEHF Architects were commissioned to transform former offices of the Erste Bank Group Headquarter into a stunning five-star hotel. Four separate historic buildings, which date back to different centuries, were carefully restored and interconnected from the inside. These houses are located in the pedestrian zone between St. Peter's Square, Tuchlauben and Graben. Kimpton Margot Sydney is one of Sydney's most exquisite Art Deco buildings. The inspiration comes from the necessity of highlighting the art deco features of the original design, with a subtle lighting scheme that would discreetly dialogue with details. The main challenge of the project was to provide a single family of products that could be declined for different requirements and provide a consistent perception of the areas throughout the hotel. Yoma is a complex of cave suites in the island of Zakynthos. In a steep, narrow piece of land, of west orientation, the complex of 10 private suites, are placed along the inclination to maximize privacy, view openness, and outdoor area for each suite. The intention to merge the buildings into the landscape led the composition to be developed on four levels: the reception area of the complex is located at the higher one, at the entrance of the plot,while at the other three the suites are developed.
