The Khmer Beverages (KB) Experience Pavilion in Phnom Penh integrates industrial functionality and refined aesthetics into a single, cohesive structure within the active compound of KB Brewery by Chip Mong Group. The Pavilion is designed to serve multiple functions, balancing corporate branding requirements with a high-performance hospitality experience within an operational industrial environment.
The exterior utilizes layered geometries and expansive glazing to form a circular structure that responds directly to climate and orientation. A facade system of double-layered glazing and extended overhangs reduces solar heat gain, while structural clarity and transparency connect the interior with the landscaped surroundings. Concrete planes, defined volumes, and natural materials establish a calm, function-led environment that meets the operational demands of a corporate hospitality setting.
Inside, a double-height atrium is filled with natural light from large, curving glass walls and a central oval skylight. A circular bar clad in vertical timber is anchored beneath the skylight, highlighting craftsmanship and providing direct views of the brewing process through expansive glass walls. Soft, richly colored upholstery, minimalist forms, and strategic lighting support comfort, circulation, and atmosphere throughout the space.
The KB Experience Pavilion reflects Cambodia's evolving architectural landscape, demonstrating how industrial and hospitality programs can be integrated within a single structure to meet international standards while interpreting local culture and environment within a contemporary operational context.
