A few steps into the bistro and you can tell that this project merges art and architecture. What inspired you? PM: When you go to Venice you expect to be impressed. Venice is easy to imagine based on a single postcard, but to live it is something completely unique. The biggest challenge was to bring this experience to the guests of Vabene Cicchetti. Borgo Montecucco

The D.O.C. (Controlled Designation of Origin certification) wine produced on the hill on which Montecucco lies takes its name from the hamlet. The hamlet includes a small brick church, an agricultural building used as an oil mill, a residential building with a wine cellar below, and a complex of barns and warehouses. It dates back to between the first half of the eighteenth century and the beginning of the nineteenth century. Pilgrim's Guesthouse

The new Guesthouse-Hermitage is located within the Monastic Complex of Siloe, which spans an area of 38,000 square meters across a network of hilly pathways. The four living units, designated as external guest accommodations for occasional visitors to the Siloe community, are seamlessly integrated into the natural terrain and have been constructed without altering the surrounding landscape, pioneering a new form of sustainable living. Casa Roverella

Casa Roverella is a villa created to embrace nature. The house is located in Puglia, halfway between Ostuni and Cisternino, in the Valle d'Itria, an area that inspired the entire project. The main intention was immediately to seek a dialogue with the natural elements present on the ground. A large oak tree gave the initial inspiration that led to the entire house being structured around it, making it the true protagonist of the project. Enrico Molteni Architecture completes a timber and glass inclusive education center in Parma

Milan-based Enrico Molteni Architecture has completed the development of an inclusive education center in Parma, Italy. ARW completes the renovation of a former 1950s Pirelli property in Milan

Italian architectural studio Botticini+ Facchinelli ARW (Architectural Research Workshop) has completed the renovation of a 1950s property in the Bicocca district of Milan. Located at Viale Fulvio Testi 223, the project, known as “Testi 223”, presented an opportunity to restore and redevelop the former Piero Pirelli Institute, a school and factory complex once used by the children of Pirelli employees (Pirelli is a historic Italian tire manufacturer).
