The Warsaw Uprising Mound Park is the Fourth Nature refuge created on an anthropogenic hill. For years, this site served as a repository for the debris from Warsaw after the city was destroyed in World War II, gradually giving rise to an artificial hill that now stands 35 metres above the surrounding flat and marshy landscape. After the landfill was closed in the mid-1960s, the hill became overgrown with vegetation that, over time, transformed into a ruderal "forest". Its adaptation into a public park involved recognising its ecological and symbolic potential and making various uses of the rubble found on site. The new parks are conceived as recycling squares. The staff building, the canopy and the signage support the idea of ​​a clear place, a public space in the urban periphery.The container park is sloped in one big gesture towards the road. In this way the recycling square obtains a powerful facade and thus a recognizable image for both visitors and passers-by. Maxaquene Txombene is a public space project in an informal settlement in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, utilizing recycled plastic as the primary construction material. The project transformed an old defunct drinking water fountain into a shaded recreational space. The structure was built of beams produced of recycled plastic waste and the concrete blocks used in the landscape design were cast in reclaimed five-liter water bottles. The recycling facility is a group of three buildings and two vehicules area,  united all the fonction  in a single winding path.The environnemental process was a central preoccupation for the client, CODAH as the notion of his representation for the public. The ‘Pavilion’ is an ode to memories. A form recollected from the distant past, born out of the architect’s experience of spaces, colors, textures, emotions and sensations. RECOLLECTIONS touched on the sustainability of the past and its potential inherent treasure. The past is stored in our memories, and as such it is treasured within our deep emotional senses – this is conveyed in the manifestation of objects we create. Recycling center with an uplifting environment The household waste lit de parade, my colleague Rolf kindly said. This recycling center is located at one of the city's main entrances, also a very sensitive spot for waste management. The driving force behind the recycling center at Kullö was to push the boundaries of what a recycling center can be and symbolize. Waste can be seen as a resource, instead of garbage.
