BNP Paribas Exeo Campus

When BNP Paribas set out to bring its scattered Lisbon teams under one roof, the brief went beyond consolidation. Openbook Architecture was asked to design a workplace that could hold both the intensity of collaborative work and the need for quiet concentration, without forcing people to choose between them. The result, a 38,000 sqm hub across three buildings at Parque das Nações, is less a single office than a considered sequence of spaces, each tuned to a different register of working life. Eduardo Montenegro Photography BNP Paribas Group employs close to 10,000 people in Portugal, spread until recently across separate addresses in Lisbon. The decision to consolidate the majority of these teams into a single campus at... More

Lotus Clubhouse

Lotus Clubhouse, designed by MIA Design Studio, is conceived as a built landscape rather than a singular architectural object. Positioned along a lakeshore and embedded within existing vegetation, the 2,000-square-meter clubhouse is organized as a dispersed system of low volumes that follow the site’s natural slopes. The project advances a model of tropical architecture grounded in passive environmental control, biodiversity integration, and minimal visual impact. Hiroyuki Oki MIA Design Studio   Architecture as topography Rather than forming a dominant mass, the clubhouse is fragmented into smaller pavilions arranged beneath the forest canopy. These volumes are connected by curved pathways and reflective water surfa... More

ONE SAPPORO STATION TOWER / North 8 West 1 Urban Area Redevelopment Project

Directly connected to Sapporo Station, this 48-story residential tower—the tallest in Hokkaido—reframes high-rise living as a civic platform. The project supervises design from the ground-floor entrance and lounge through elevator halls to residences above, with key common spaces on levels 5 and 29 curated as an urban “living room” for residents and neighbors alike. Caption The architectural language emerges from Sapporo’s climate. Perforations derived from snow-crystal geometries filter “snowlight,” drawing countless rays into the interiors. A double-skin façade generates subtle moiré and depth while softening the boundary between inside and outside. Bézier-curved ceiling... More

Quadra Merida

In more recent years, we've come to value outdoor spaces more than ever. At the same time, we understand the fundamental need for a roof that offers shelter. So, what happens when we connect both in a way that makes the boundaries between them almost invisible? R8 Visuals That was our premise in designing these two homes: to take advantage of two adjacent plots and create a family-focused project that unites without imposing. One house was designed for the client and his wife; the other, for the future family of their son. This led to two layout concepts: the “L” and the “C.” R8 Visuals Both share a modular design, the same number of spaces, and a common visual identity. Yet, the configuration of the rear... More

UMONS Ecotechnologies

Our project, situated between a dynamic urban context and a green campus, uses its unique triangular form to establish a dialogue with its environment. Each side of the triangle maintains a specific relationship with either the urban fabric or the campus, reflecting a deep understanding of the site. The building’s design offers a smooth transition between the city and the campus. The northwest façade, limited to two levels, respects the scale of the neighboring houses, ensuring harmonious integration into the urban landscape. The triangular base intelligently adapts to the site's constraints and opportunities, offering both flexibility and openness to the outside. C.W.G.

The C.W.G. project is a transformative reimagining of a standard 4 BHK apartment into a spacious, functional, and culturally attuned 3 BHK residence. The design journey revolves around enhancing the living experience by balancing minimalism with heritage, innovation with intention, and modern planning with traditional values. Image Courtesy Uniifyy At the core of the transformation is the strategic decision to convert the apartment into a more generous 3 BHK layout. This allowed for the creation of a large and efficient kitchen, a centrally placed pooja room that acts as the spiritual anchor of the home, and generous dresser and study zones in bedroom—ensuring both privacy and personalized comfort.
