Material
etalbond® is a high-quality sandwich-type composite panel. It consists of a non-toxic polyethylene core firmly bonded between fine aluminum facing and backing sheets. The panels come in different core thicknesses of 2, 3, and 5mm, with aluminum sheets of 0.5. The standard sheet widths are 1000, 1250, and 1500mm, and the lengths range from 2000 up to 7000mm. The total thickness of etalbond® is 3, 4, and 6mm.
The bonding of the aluminum sheets with the core is accomplished by compressing the three parts (two aluminum sheets and adhesive along with the polyethylene) within the rolls, resulting in strong and exceptionally rigid flat sheets of composite panels.
