The Alumico 68STH is a high-performance aluminium window and curtain-wall vent system designed for residential, commercial, and institutional applications. The system incorporates a mechanically crimped nylon-polyamide thermal break and accommodates double or triple insulated glazing, helping to limit heat transfer through the building envelope. A rainscreen design, weather-resistant EPDM gaskets, and triple gasketing contribute to air and water resistance and long-term durability.
From a sustainability perspective, the thermally broken framing and insulated glazing can support improved building-envelope performance and reduced heating and cooling demand. Durability is supported by weather-resistant seals and water-management detailing, potentially extending the service life of the system.
Alumico's products use 100 percent Quebec-sourced aluminium, are manufactured in Montreal, and use VOC-free finishes applied at its Montreal facilities, supporting a comparatively regional supply chain and avoiding VOC emissions associated with conventional solvent-based finishing processes.
