BetonTherm Cork is the ideal EIFS system to realize External and Internal Thermo-acoustic Coating with an high mechanical strenght and thermal transmittance value, and a high sound reduction, these panels are suitable for thermal insulation both external and internal. The EIFS system BetonTherm Cork, is one of the best products on the market as materials, both in terms of duration, mechanical resistance, humidity resistance, mass, thermal transmittance value, it has an excellent fire behavior, and it is also suitable both for new and wood constructions, and especially as a panel for rehabilitation of deteriorated plaster and persistent humidity.

BetonTherm Cork is a system designed for the realization of a thermo-acoustic coating in short times and without needing of specialized manpower, the panels in small sizes can also be installed by private individuals with a drill and dowels.

Its properties make it great for emergency exits, school, hospitals, and public building in general:

• Fire resistance class A2; • High mechanical resistance (vandal-resistant); • Product certified by green building; • Breaks down a wide range of acoustic frequencies, even very high; • Allows you to fix the panels without glue and without having to restore the plaster underneath; • Rebated profile;

BetonTherm Cork is composed by two coupled panels, one with high density realized with cement and wood BetonWood and one with insulting blond natural cork CorkPanels:

• The panel in wood cement forms the high-density layer and it is made of concrete Portland type and debarked Pine wood fiber with high density (δ=1350 Kg/m3) and the following thermodynamic properties: thermal conductivity coefficient λ=0,26 W/mK, specific heat c=1,88 KJ/Kg K, water vapour diffusion resistance factor μ=22,6 and fire resistance class A2. The wood used in the processing of panels comes from controlled forests and pressed with water and hydraulic binder (Portland concrete).

• The blond natural cork is characterized by the following thermodynamic properties: density 150÷160 Kg/m³, thermal conductivity coefficient λ=0,041 W/mK, specific heat c=1764 J/Kg K, water vapour diffusion resistance factor μ=10÷13 and fire resistance class 2, according to the Circ. Min.Interno 14/09/1961, n.91.

The materials certified in green building are breathable, resistant to mold, mildew etc. and suitable for installation in wet environments.
