Bobbin Lace Lamp

A lamp without a bulb, he lighting is being transported through the optical fibre. Therefore, the shade of the lamp becomes the light source. Each string consists of 400 filaments, which will be broken on the knots. On these point, the light will come out. The Bobbin Lace Lamp is handmade and can be custom made for a particular location. The lamp has been purchased by museum Boymans van Beuningen Rotterdam, the Dutch Textile Museum Tilburg and the Manchester City Art Gallery
