Chair made out of the skin of 1 cow. The hide is soaked in water, therefore it becomes flexible. The hide is being pulled over a mould. By drying of the skin, the chair gets fixed in it’s shape. No glues or extra material, construction is being added. It’s only cow skin. Every cow is unique, therefore every chair is unique.
The chair is part of the collection of Droog Design and has been purchased by several international musea amongst which Museum Boymans van Beuningen Rotterdam, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Centraal Museum Utrecht.
