Since 1989, ECLISSE has been producing frames for sliding doors that allow the door to disappear into the wall. Thanks to the sliding door system, the space required by a revolving door is saved. ECLISSE research has led to the development of specific sliding door frames for each building material, for plaster and plasterboard walls, and exclusive patents such as Luce, a sliding door system that has made it possible to place switches and light points next to the doorway.

Uncompromised durability

ECLISSE’s sliding door carriages undergo rigorous testing in line with the European standard UNI EN 1527. Designed for doors up to 100kg and 150kg, these carriages endure over 100,000 opening and closing cycles—equivalent to 30 years of daily use—without showing any signs of wear or damage.

Premium construction

The fully removable rail of ECLISSE sliding door systems is crafted from high-grade aluminum alloy 6060 (UNI 9006/1). It features a durable 10 μm anodized top layer and undergoes a thermal T5 treatment, ensuring long-lasting performance and resilience.

Exceptional shock resistance

ECLISSE sliding door systems have passed the stringent European shock test (UNI EN 1629), which involves subjecting the system to impacts from a 30 kg weight from various heights. Remarkably, the system remains undamaged, affirming its robustness and reliability.

Superior load capacity

The ECLISSE EWOLUTO® sliding door system is engineered for outstanding load-bearing capability. A wall element with two mounting points can support up to 180 kg with Rawlbolts and up to 360 kg with chemical anchors (60 kg at 600 mm from the wall). Additionally, a handle with four mounting points can bear up to 100 kg when installed with chemical anchors and threaded rods, even at a distance of 600 mm from the wall.

Impressive anti-corrosion performance

ECLISSE’s commitment to durability extends to its anti-corrosion capabilities. Tested under the European standard UNI EN 1670, the sliding door system exhibits no signs of rust after 240 hours in a high-humidity salt spray environment, underscoring its suitability for diverse and challenging conditions.

ECLISSE continues to set the benchmark for innovative, reliable, and environmentally conscious sliding door solutions, making it a preferred choice for architects and designers worldwide.

ECLISSE

ECLISSE began manufacturing sliding door systems in 1989 at its factory near Treviso, Italy, and quickly achieved success. This rapid rise was driven by an innovative product design and advanced production techniques. Superior products and design soon led to expansion across Europe, making ECLISSE the leading producer of these systems.

The company's mission is to develop construction technology characterized by innovation and exceptional quality standards. With over 40 patents to date, ECLISSE frames have revolutionized the way we think about sliding door systems. Their doors slide effortlessly into the wall, opening up rooms and transforming perceptions of space.

ECLISSE is a leading company in its sector both in Italy and globally. It sells its products throughout Europe and in major non-European countries via a commercial network established in 1995 with the opening of its first subsidiary in Quimper, France. Subsequently, more subsidiaries were established in Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Brazil, Germany, Romania, and the UK. In the Netherlands, ECLISSE is represented by MARSICA Special Doors & Frames. In all other countries, ECLISSE is present through distributors and/or agents.
